RealFilms is a semi-monthly documentary film screening series presented by Houston's Documentary Alliance.

Each screening features the attendance of the filmmaker(s) who will be available for questions and socializing. Tickets for the event are only $10.00 per person and include free popcorn and other concessions including sodas and bottled water (venue permitting). There will also be a drawing for a door prize at each screening.

Currently, most screenings are held at Aurora Picture Show in the Houston Heights. Please RSVP online to let us know you are coming - it helps us to estimate the response to the film. Tickets can be purchased by check, cash, or online with a major credit card. Tickets at the door are $10.00, cash only. Ticket proceeds benefit the Documentary Alliance whose mission is to support the production of documentary films about history, culture, and science. Additional donations are gratefully accepted, and are fully tax deductible*

If you would like to be placed on the RealFims mailing list, and receive announcements of upcoming films, please send an e-mail to sunspot2@gmail.com. You will receive an announcement about each film, and a reminder the day before. We also announce some MFAH films that we co-sponsor which all adds up to possibly 5 emails per month, usually less. Reply to any of our mailouts to request removal at any time.
